I just want to start out by saying, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! You rock, America. Also- sorry we have been MIA recently, wedding season is clearly upon us and we have dived in headfirst. But anyways, today we thought it would be amusing to share some ideas on how to make a wedding into a fun and festive 4th of July theme.
1. Floral

This bouquet of festive colors not only works so well with a bride’s beautiful white gown but it would also compliment the bridesmaid’s navy blue or rich red dresses. Throw in some white and blue striped ribbon and call it a nautical themed wedding; perfect for an Independence Day by the sea.

Don’t hold back on the bold. Doing an American themed wedding does not mean you need an overwhelming amount of stars and stripes, focus on your favorite patterns with the festive red, white, & blue colors!
3. Cocktails

Red, White, and Blue Sangria; so easy, so cute. Pinterest is fantastic for ideas such as these! And yes, you may be thinking having an open bar does not consist of strictly berries and red, white, and blue alcohol. Another easy option would be festive straws and napkins to spice up your holiday.
4. Cake

Cake, cake, cake, cake… Naked cakes are gorgeous and delicious so why not exert it into this theme? Red velvet is a popular flavor that works PERFECTLY with this holiday. Yes, just yes.
5. Stationary

This design looks a bit on the nautical side which we absolutley adore. A bright individual once thought to create decorated envelopes on the inside so that there is a good balance of patterns without overwhelming the actual cards.
6. Favors

There are so many different options when it comes to wedding favors; it truthfully comes down to the personality of the bride and groom. We personally love how sweet and simple this favor is especially if these berries are farm fresh and in season!
7. Ceremony Exit

Sparklers are one of the best and most classic ways to knock out this 4th of July themed exit. Maybe add some American flags to the crowd to finish strong? Love.
8. Firework Show

And what would be better than fireworks to end your special day? Happy Independence Day everyone!
