This wedding was so much fun. There is really no other way to describe Matt and Julia's picture perfect weddding at Indian Springs Metro Park than with that first sentance. I was blessed to have been brought into this wedding as one of my best friends's boyfriend was the Best Man and brother of the groom. So nice working with people you know going into the planning process!

When the bride Julia told me the venue for wedding, I couldn't have been happier. For the last three years I done weddings at The Nature Center of Indian Springs and it is a planners dream. A gorgeous oak tree as a ceremony backdrop and a reception space filled with floor to ceiling wood slats and enormous windows. The space makes every wedding look good! Throw in simple, yet adorable decor that fits the rustic feel and boom, perfection!

Julia and Matt had a rockin' bridal party that just wanted to have a good time which always makes the day go smoother. When it came to vendors, Julia and Matt outdid themselves. They made an amazing investment in their photograher, The Camera Chick. Talk about two amazing people, Sandy and Tim, I love you, can we please work together again? With on and off rain this amazing duo were quick with the pictures and come on, they turned out stunning!

Sometimes, things dont go according to plan and there is one thing we cannot control, the weather. All day long it either rained or threatened rain. The highest percentage was right at ceremony and beyond. Julia and Matt did not originally plan on seeing eachother until after the wedding and wanted to save all pictures until then too. With the chance of rain and no outdoor pictures, we did an impromtu first look betwen the couple and did bridal party picturs, definitely rhe right call! I was so proud of Julia for rolling with this change and not letting anything ruin her day. Even when we had to move the ceremony inside at the 11th hour, Matt and Julia were totally fine. Perfect example of two people who knew what their wedding was all about, each other and nothing else mattered.

Couples like Matt and Julia dont come along all the time and I just feel lucky to have been a small part of their wedding. These two deserve all the happiness in the world and this was a wonderful start to a long and happy marriage.
