I worked with the couple for a year and did full service planning for them. Nate was the one who reached out to me. Being the sweetheart he is, he wanted to hire me so that Janelle could have a stress-free planning process. They more than any other couple I have ever worked with trusted my opinion and vision. It was a 100% delight to work with them!

After the ceremony was held at St. Roberts of Newminister, the couple's reception took place at the Cheney Place in Grand Rapids. It was a beautiful venue to showcase Nathan and Janelle's unique style! For the design, I wanted to play off the urban space with the rich wood beans, metals and concrete flooring. We used a rich eggplant, mahogany chairs and gold palette. Succulents were infused throughout the design and we even went as far as spray painting the votive holders we planted the place card succulents in so it would be their signature gold. I designed the invitation, programs, place cards and signage. The Rental Company provided the goregous chairs incoporated in the event design; meanwhile, Damsel Floral stole the show with incredible centerpieces.

Heartfelt speeches (primarily the groom's sisters touching poem), traditional Catholic ceremony and full loving bridal party, proved to be a few of the evening's most memorable aspects. Guests danced the night away, while they enjoyed catering from Martha's Vinyard and a cake designed by Cakes by Lori. All of these moments were captured by the talented photographers of Bradley Productions. What a night!

Thanks to Nate and Janelle for allowing me to play a role in the planning, design, and paper products for your fabulous wedding. It will always be a night to remember!
xo, Kelly.
